Woman sued Ufa Hospital No.3 half million rubles for forgotten clamp

UFA, 5 October 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The woman sued the Ufa hospital No.3 half a million rubles for the forgotten clamp in her abdomen. The Meleuz resident filed a lawsuit against the doctors of the hospital and won it, the State TV and Radio Company "Bashkortostan" reports.

According to her, the Ufa doctors left the so-called Miculicz clamp of 20 cm length in her abdomen during a cesarean section. She carried in her body the steel instrument for several years. The clamp was accidentally discovered during a medical examination by Meleuz hospital doctors. They removed it from the woman's body.
