Dead and injured due to fire on Zorge Ztreet in Ufa are reported - VIDEO

UFA, 30 September 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. There is one dead person and several injured in the fire on Zorge street in Ufa. As the Bashinform News Agency found out from its own sources, one person jumped out of the building and fell to death while trying to escape from the fire. Also as a result of the emergency two people were injured. According to witnesses, a possible cause of the fire in a high rise was inflammation in a nearby restaurant.

The press service of the EMERCOM of Russia in Bashkortostan reports updated data about the accident.

"At 10.20 the dispatcher of the Fire and Rescue Service received a report on a fire in a building under construction on Zorge Ztreet. There were injured people due to the fire. According to preliminary data, more than ten people were evacuated ", the department informs.

Emergency services are engaged at the scene including 41 people and 17 units of equipment. The fire was localized at 10.59.
