Prosecutor's office will check Ufa - Djerba flight delay incident

UFA, 23 August 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Volga transport prosecutor's office will check the incident with Ufa - Djerba (Tunisia) flight delay by AzurAir Airlines. This was reported by the press service of the department.

It was established that the route was scheduled for August 21, 19.35 local time. In fact, the plane took off on August 22 at 09.22. The delay time was 12 hours 47 minutes. The reason was a technical failure of the aircraft.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the airline was busy with troubleshooting. Passengers were accommodated in the hotel. Later, they were invited to the gate, but then it turned out that the problem persisted in the plane. The carrier decided to replace the aircraft. A new jet arrived from "Domodedovo" by which 232 tourists flew on the route.

Following the results of the check it will be decided on necessary measures of prosecutor's response.
