About 2.5 thousand convicts completed sentence went at large in Bashkiria for six months

In Bashkiria in the first half of the year 2433 convicts who have served their sentence went at large. 1292 people served their time fully. 756 were freed on parole. Imprisonment was replaced with a softer punishment to 355 convicts. Typically, this is correctional labour. Another 30 were released due to illness, due to delays, due to changes in sentencing and free pardon. In the same list there are several people released under amnesty last year for the 70th anniversary of the Victory, the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service in Bashkortostan Republic informs. Total about 11 thousand prisoners are serving sentences in Bashkir colonies.
