Bear and camel escaped from Ufa zoo

UFA, 28 March 2016. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. An adult brown bear and a camel escaped from the Ufa mobile zoo. The incident occurred yesterday about 18.00 o’clock near the territory of the Mechanical Engineering Recreation Centre.

The Bashinform News Agency managed to find out that just after receiving the information law enforcement officers immediately had appeared at the scene and cordoned off the area. Also, rescuers and representatives of the Ministry of Environment RB were present there. The bear was sedated and taken to the cage at the zoo. It was also managed to get the camel into its open-air cage. No one was injured.
