Ufa mobile operators have told how to avoid falling victim to cyber fraudsters

According to the Interior Ministry in the republic, for two months of this year 264 frauds via the Internet (up almost 200 crimes), by phone - 168 (an increase of 100 crimes) were registered. According to the director of the regional branch of one of the mobile operators Damir Baigildin, in order not to get caught on the hook of scams, you need to know several rules.

"Firstly, you need to stay calm. When you receive a message on your phone, for example, that your cousin got in an accident or your card is frozen, you should not react immediately. It is necessary to take a pause. During this time, you need to calm down and possibly contact your relative, your bank and to understand what is really going on. Secondly, it is necessary to inform your mobile operator of the attempted fraud", said Damir Baigildin.

In addition, he recommends making purchases on the Internet via an additional bank card with small amount of money on it.
