Detergent ingredients polluted the river Belaya in Bashkortostan

UFA, 23 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. In Bashkortostan, the ingredients of washing powder got into the White River. Report of appearance of chemical foam in water near Sterlitamak was received by Bashkir Environmental District Prosecutor's Office from the media and citizens.

It was found that in September this year as a result of the fact that the personnel of the detergents shop at "Ecole" enterprise did not observe the operating schedule standard in manufacture of washing powder, surfactants reached the waste waters of the company. This resulted in the foam formation on the river near to Sterlitamak.

The company and the foreman of the shop were fined 22 thousand rubles. According to the Prosecutor's Office RB, the director of the company took measures to prevent similar violations in the future.
