Schoolboy took his teacher hostage in Bashkortostan

UFA, 14 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The Tuimazy Investigative Committee is investigating an incident occurred on September 23 this year: a 15-year-old schoolboy took a 33-year-old teacher of the Russian language hostage. Left alone with the teacher, the teenager pulled a knife out of his backpack and demanded to call the police. When the police arrived he asked them for a gun saying he wanted to shoot.

According to the Investigative Committee in the republic, according to preliminary data, the cause of the teenager’s violence was problems in his family. Criminal investigation is initiated against him. A forensic psychiatric examination will be made. The article incriminated to the teenager provides imprisonment for a term of 6 to 15 years.
