Bashkiria drug control police seized 172 kg of banned substances for seven months

UFA, 24 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Drug control of Bashkortostan seized from circulation 172 kg of banned substances in January-July this year. As the press service of the department informs, it included 136 kg of marijuana, 1 kg of hashish, 7 kg of hashish oil, 22 kg of synthetic drugs and 1 kg of psychotropic and 3 kg of dangerous drugs.

The "Poppy" operation continues in the region. During the operation it was revealed that near the Urman-Bishkadak village of Ishimbay region 5 hectares were sown with wild-growing hemp. In late July, a local resident with two bags of marijuana weighing more than 5 kg was detained in Ufa.
