Ufa - Moscow flight was cancelled due to chassis malfunction

UFA, 19 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In the morning of May 18, due to a faulty main left landing gear the flight SU-1231 of JSC "Aeroflot" was canceled. The plane was to depart from Ufa – to Moscow (Sheremetyevo) at 11.25. 108 passengers checked-in, including three young children. As a result, 68 people went to the destination by alternative flights during the day. 18 passengers flew by SU-1233 at 19.15. Another 22 passengers will flight to the destination on May 19.

Ufa transport prosecutor's office checks the enforcement of safety legislation and also controls observance of passengers’ rights of canceled flights including their timely provision of drinks, hot meals, hotel services.

The inspection will address the issue of necessary measures of prosecutor's response, the Chief Assistant Transport Prosecutor of Volga District, Maya Ivanova said.
