30-year-old rafter died during rafting on the river Small Inzer in Bashkiria

UFA, 13 May 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkortostan, initial inquiry into the death of 30-year-old Ufa resident is conducted. According to the Investigative Committee of Russia in the republic on May 10, he and his partner went on a catamaran along the Small Inzer, while preparations for the upcoming rafting competitions. On Aygir rapids the catamaran overturned, rafters were in the water. One of the rafters was driven to the bank. The body of the second was found on May 12, four kilometers downstream on the island.
