Criminal investigation into the fatal accident with Sergey Mikhalev was initiated in the Chelyabinsk region

A criminal investigation into the fatal car accident with the former coach of the hockey club "Salavat Yulaev" Sergey Mikhalev has begun in the Chelyabinsk region. According to the regional STSI, investigation commenced against 37-year-old driver of the "Skoda Octavia" car, which passenger was killed. According to the LifeNews portal, the foreign car was driven by the CEO of the "Chelyabinsk hockey" website Kamil Galiakberov, who had repeatedly been brought to fines for speeding. The media manager is hospitalized with serious injuries.

Sergey Mikhalev was returning home from Chelyabinsk after the funeral of the famous coach Valery Belousov. The accident occurred on April 21 at about 5.30 on the federal highway "Ural" M5 near the town of Asha. "Skoda" drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck MAZ from the Ivanovo region. 30-year-old driver of the truck was not injured. The examination showed that both drivers were sober.
