Sergey Mikhalev will be buried in Togliatti

UFA, 21 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency/. Sergey Mikhalev, who died in a car accident, planned to go by train, but for unknown reasons, chose the car, RIA Novosti reported with reference to the representative of Ufa HC "Salavat Yulaev".

"Mikhalev will be buried in Togliatti. It is the desire of wife and daughter of Sergei Mikhailovich. Now the memorial service is being organized. Visitation will be held in Ufa and Togliatti", Alexander Semak said.

The honoured coach of Russia, General Director Adviser of HC "Salavat Yulaev" crashed this morning in the Chelyabinsk region. The "Skoda Octavia", where he was a passenger, went into the oncoming lane and collided with a truck. The driver survived and was taken to hospital. The coach was returning to Ufa from the funeral of his colleague, the former coach of the Chelyabinsk "Tractor" Valery Belousov when the accident happened. Sergei Mikhalev was 67 years old.
