New traffic signs and symbols will be introduced in Russia

UFA, 7 April 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The Russian government has adopted a resolution to amend the Traffic Rules. Traffic lights with built-in red light or a red line will appear that will help to improve the visibility of the additional section. Pedestrians will be able to pass the cross-roads cornerwise. Special lines will denote parking zone as a whole and not a parking place, as previously. Cyclists will be allowed to use the lanes for public transport. A separate sign "bicycle lane" will also be introduced as the available sign "Bicycle track or lane for cyclists" does not satisfy the requirements of safety: the lane and the track have different driving modes, it is said in the document.
