Snowboarder from Yekaterinburg died at Bashkir resort

UFA, 5 March 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. The Investigative Committee of Bashkortostan holds a preliminary inquiry into the death of a 28-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg.

According to the press service of the Committee, a tourist with his family and friends came to Abzelilovo region of Bashkortostan for snowboarding and skiing. In the morning on March 1, the snowboarder at the skiing run No. 5, presumably, moving down too quickly grazed surface with a metal edging of his snowboard and flipped over. According to the preliminary conclusion of forensic experts, the victim died as a result of a fracture of the cervical spine with spinal cord injury.
