Prosecutor's Office checked pricing at the wholesale food suppliers in Bashkortostan

UFA, 19 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. On behalf of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office Bashkortostan prosecutors checked the compliance with the pricing legislation of wholesale companies and found numerous violations. Following the checks 53 administrative cases were initiated and 21 submissions were made, the press service of the Prosecutor's Office RB informs.

For example, one of the meat-packing plants set unnecessarily high prices for its products, being a sole supplier of beef in Davlekanovo region.

The conclusion between the dairy plant and trading networks of a commission agreement was revealed, whereas such contracts restricting the agent’s right for registration of transactions are prohibited by the federal law.

In the city of Sibay one of the distribution centres increased the trade mark-up on baby food included in the category of socially important products to 60 percent.
