FSB revealed a large cell of Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami in Bashkortostan

UFA, 5 February 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. FSB (the Russian Federal Security Service) arrested 31 residents of the Republic of Bashkortostan on suspicion of belonging to a terrorist organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir al-Islami, the press-service of the agency informs. Searches and detentions took place in the city of Ufa, Ufa and Chishmy regions.

Illicit literature, included in the federal list of extremist materials, technical devices and electronic media, campaigning and advocacy publications used by international terrorist organization are seized at the suspects.

At the moment, the suspects are sent to the detention centre, their further detention will be considered.
