Passenger carried a package of hashish on the train "St. Petersburg - Ufa"

UFA, 16 January 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. Transport police detained a passenger on the train "St. Petersburg - Ufa" having found drugs in his luggage. According to the press service of the Directorate of Transport Police of the Russian Interior Ministry in the Volga Federal District, the officers of Ruzaevo department decided to check the luggage of a 27-year-old native of St. Petersburg during search operations.
Among the personal belongings there was a substance of dark brown colour pressed into rectangular tiles. The examination confirmed that the seized substance is hashish weighing more than 92 grams.
A case is initiated against the passenger under the article "illegal acquisition and storage of drugs without a purpose of selling". He faces a sentence of imprisonment for a term from three to ten years.
