225 cubic meters of waste were taken out from the hurricane-affected villages - MOE

The infrastructure recovery continues in Krasnokamsk and Yanaul areas devastated by the hurricane. In the evening of August 29 the hurricane damaged more than 230 power poles, ripped off roofs, destroyed houses and school buildings. According to the Main Directorate of EMERCOM of Russia in Bashkortostan, the power supply is restored in 24 settlements. As of August 31, 45 houses of Old Kuyuk village of Yanaul region and 57 houses of Karievo village of Krasnokamsk region remain without electricity supply.

Gas supply is connected in all municipalities, 80 private houses are still disconnected.

225 cubic meters of construction debris and sawed trees were removed from the territory of the two affected regions; about 12 km of streets were cleared.

823 people and 174 units of equipment are engaged in rescue and recovery operations.
