Passenger flown from Turkey died in Ufa airport

In Ufa the Volga Transport Directorate of Investigative Committee RF conducts a preliminary inquiry into the death of 50-year-old woman. On August 25, the woman with her husband arrived flight Antalya - Ufa. It has been established that the crew reported dispatchers about a passenger in serious condition in 10 minutes before landing. The patient was taken to the health centre, where timely arrived ambulance crew carried out resuscitation procedure. Despite medical assistance, the patient died.

The husband of the dead woman said his wife had suffered cancer since 2007. On August 21, they flew to the Turkish resort. On August 23, the woman felt worse, nosebleed opened. As their insurance did not cover medical care, the couple decided to return home.

During the preliminary examination the acts of the airport staff and medical services will be assessed that will affect the adoption of a procedural decision, the press service of the investigative body informs.
