Kazan residents are accused of trying to steal money from bank cards of Ufa townspeople

Two residents of Kazan are accused of trying to seize funds from bank cards of Ufa townspeople. As reported by the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Bashkortostan, visitors of Ufa purchased the equipment simulating parts of ATMs to copy the information from bank cards. Defendants in the case established the equipment and a video camera for hidden fixing PIN-codes on one of the ATMs in Ufa. Thus they were able to obtain the information about the accounts of four credit card holders. The fraudsters failed to use the data - they were detained by police.

The criminal case against fraudsters is directed to the court.
