Former deputy chief of traffic police paid one million of fine in Bashkortostan

The Former Deputy Chief of Road Police of Bashkortostan has paid a fine of more than one million rubles under the decision of court. He was found guilty of taking bribes. According to investigators, in September-October 2012, the official of the republican traffic police gave several so-called "beautiful" vehicle registration numbers for a cash reward.

The court forbade the 55-year-old former police officer to hold public office for three years and sentenced him to a fine of one million 300 thousand rubles. After the entry of judgment into legal force ex-head of the traffic police paid the full sum to the budget, according to republican prosecutor's office.
