Bashkir traffic police announced details of the accident with Torpedo HC fans

The Mercedes bus with fans of Torpedo Ice-Hockey Club was driven by the driver with 13 years of experience. The 31-year-old native of Nizhniy Novgorod had four months of bus driving experience, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate on RB specifies. The fans went to the upcoming match of Torpedo versus Salavat Yulaev (Ufa).

"The accident occurred on the 1172nd kilometre on the route Moscow - Ufa at 11.30, local time. Turning right, the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into a ditch and turned over then. The 32-year-old passenger, the resident of Nizhny Novgorod received serious injuries and died. Seven passengers were rendered medical aid", the press service of the republican road police informs.
