Number of fatalities due to the fire in Yanaul increased to six people
Rudolf Ghaitiev died without regaining consciousness at the burns unit of the City Clinical Hospital No. 18.
He was the owner of the apartment, which was at the epicentre of the explosion. The fire affected more than 70 percent of his body. His pregnant wife and 6-year-old daughter died in the fire. 15-year-old son of Rudolf Ghaitiev is still in intensive care, doctors estimate his condition as extremely critical.
We remind that, on January 19 due to the explosion and fire in one of the five-story building of Yanaul five people died and 10 were injured. According to the preliminary information, the accident happened because of gas mixture explosion: a leak occurred from a gas cylinder acquired for making repairs.
