Farmer has found an anti-tank mine in a lake near Ufa

Overnight the Ufa police received a call from a farmer living in Melkombinat suburban settlement. The man noticed an anti-tank mine in the lake where his cows pastured. He used to see such mines during his military service and he called the police. Having arrived at the scene, sappers of special purpose police unit established that it was a drill mine TM-56. It did not pose any hazard. Nevertheless, policemen conduct investigation of its origin as the nearest armament training camp is far from the settlement, the spokesman of the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on RB Ramzes Nazarov informs.
