Organizers of «Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami» cell are arrested in Ufa

On August 26, 2013 inspectors of the Federal Security Service Directorate on RB initiated criminal cases against four inhabitants of Ufa, considering them being leaders of regional structures of the international terrorist organisation «Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami». The suspects are placed into a temporary detention facility.

«It is being decided now to bring a charge against them and to impose a pre-trial restraint. As a result of the spent investigatory actions the evidence showing that inhabitants of Ufa conducted a stage-by-stage illegal activity against foundations of the constitutional system and safety of the Russian Federation aimed at creation in the country of Caliphate territory — a theocratic state based on Shariat form of government» is remedially secured,” the press-service of the Federal Security Service Directorate informs.
