A fraud fact was detected by the Federal Security Service Directorate on RB in Octyabrsky branch of UGNTU

The Investigatory Committee of Russia on RB initiated a criminal case on a large scale fraud made by officials of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (UGNTU) branch in the city of Octyabrsky.

According to a version of investigation, in 2010-2012 the management of the University branch concluded more than 50 public contracts with several commercial construction companies for the sum of more than 100 million rbl. During investigative work it was established that not all contracts were executed in full. The total difference of cost of actually executed works and works specified in the acceptance certificate only under three contracts makes more than 1 800 000 rbl.

«According to the data available in the Federal Security Service Directorate (UFSB), it is not unlikely that the money funds allocated for major repairs were distributed between UGNTU branch management in the city of Octyabrsky and commercial construction organisations. Now investigatory actions are spent in order to establish officials involved in the given crime», the press-service of UFSB informs.
