Police have found out more than 4,5 thousand poppy bushes in Beloretsky region

In Beloretsky region a 32-year-old local resident is detained on suspicion of illegal drug trafficking. It was revealed more than one kg of poppy straw at him while personal search. The arrested person informed that he independently had grown drug-containing plants for his personal use. In a forest he planted a whole plantation with an area of about 50 sq. m. Policemen took off 4687 bushes of poppy, the gross weight of confiscated plants made 45 kg. A criminal case is initiated against the Beloretsk resident, the press-service of Bashkortostan Directorate of the Federal Drug Control Service informs.
