Car driver hit a pedestrian and took off from the scene in Ufa

In Ufa in October Avenue a car hit the 24-year-old pedestrian. Fortunately, he survived and was hospitalised with numerous injuries. However an ambulance was called by eyewitnesses of the accident —the driver preferred to disappear. Soon he was found: 42-year-old Ufa resident drove the Ford Focus car. Investigators examine the circumstances of the accident, both participants underwent sobriety tests. «For abandoning a road accident place drivers can be punished with revocation of driving licence from half a year to one year, with arrest for the term up to 15 days, a penalty from one to one and a half thousand rbl.», the press-service of the republican traffic police informs.
