People have 78 thousand weapons at their disposal in Bashkiria

According to the Licensing Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on RB, more than 64 thousand owners of civil weapons are registered in the police, basically these are hunters. These people have 78 thousand units of fire-arms and self-defense weapons at their disposal. Also 97 organisations having permission to store and use weapons and 61 private security enterprises are registered in the republic.

From the beginning of the current year the police during planned checks revealed more than two thousand infringements of weapons regulations and withdraw almost 1700 weapons, including from illegal circulation — more than 140. Citizens brought over 500 weapons voluntary, the press-service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on RB reports.
