Two people died in the flooded river in Bashkiria

On the border of Karmaskalinsky and Chishminsky regions, between Beketovo and Saburovo villages, the car with a driver and two passengers moved down to the flooded Urshak river on April 9. Two men died, the investigating committee carries out a pre-investigation check. As Svetlana Abramova, the deputy head of the department explains, «Chevrolet Niva» approached the bridge across Urshak on the road filled with water. Near the bridge military men and rescuers spent flood-protection works. They explained that there was no passage this way. The car moved off the washed out road and fell into the river. Rescuers pulled out the car, but staying of people in the cold water led to bad consequences. The 65-year-old driver died at the scene of the accident, the 87-year-old veteran of war died after taking to the hospital. The 70-year-old passenger is in the intensive care department.
