But in some apartments, the radiators are still cold.
In Ufa, the heating season has begun; Anton Tristan, head of the city's Life Support Administration, said heat has been supplied to all 5,290 apartment buildings and all social facilities. 5,138 Ufa apartment buildings are connected to central heating, and their own rooftop gas boiler plants provide for 152.
According to Anton Tristan, the city has received about 3,000 requests about a lack of heat, most from the Ordzhonikidzevsky district (the largest)—about 650—and the fewest from the Leninsky district (which has a huge private sector).
Call centers, plumbers, and boiler room staff are currently working in two shifts during this period of launching and debugging the heating systems, Anton Tristan said. Heat cannot appear in all homes at once, he reminded: it takes time to fill the radiators and to identify and eliminate airlocks.
