
The production season continues at the republic's beet processing enterprises.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria, as of September 30, the sugar plant in the Chishminsky District processed 171 thousand tons of beets, and the Raevsakhar company processed almost 100 thousand tons. In total, the region's enterprises have harvested 340 thousand tons of root crops, and 270 thousand tons have already been processed. Both plants have produced 36.2 thousand tons of white sugar.
Meanwhile, Bashkir farmers continue to dig sugar beets. So far, harvesting has been completed on 62% of the sown area.
"The gross harvest of root crops amounts to 947 thousand tons; the average yield is 380.2 centners per hectare," the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria added.
