Ufa will purchase almost 12 thousand tons of anti-icing materials
The city is already preparing equipment for winter.
Ufa is preparing 354 pieces of equipment for the autumn-winter period. The head of the city department of municipal economy and improvement, Arsen Latypov, announced this at an operational meeting of the capital's administration.
"Of these, 310 units are ready — that is 88%. Currently, repairs are being carried out on the equipment, including painting of blades and replacement of tires for motor graders, winter loaders, and snow blowers," the official specified.
For anti-icing treatment of sidewalks, bridges, tunnels, pedestrian zones, and other city roads, the Ufa mayor's office is finalizing contracts to supply special materials. According to Arsen Latypov, the city will receive 11,787 tons of halite and 65 tons of Bionord reagent on time.
