Investments yield results: milk production has grown in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of 2026, the republic's marketable milk production has reached 587 thousand tons. This is 29.5 thousand tons more than in the same period last year. The increase in agricultural production corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Technological Support for Food Security."

The Chekmagushevsky District remains the leader in gross production, producing 65.1 thousand tons of milk. In terms of milk yield growth, farms in the Sterlitamak District lead by a large margin, having increased milk production by nearly 19 thousand tons over the year.

"We understand that the leaders are those districts where large investment projects in dairy cattle breeding have been implemented. The number of modern industrial dairy farms in the republic has grown noticeably in recent years. We now have 26 of them. This allows us to ensure stable growth in the production of marketable milk," commented Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.

Currently, the best "dairy" municipalities are the Chekmagushevsky, Aurgazinsky, Ilishevsky, Sterlitamaksky, Dyurtyulinsky, Yermekeyevsky, and Meleuzovsky districts. In each, between 31 and 65 thousand tons of marketable milk have been produced since the beginning of the year, and one or more investment projects in dairy cattle breeding have been implemented.
