In Bashkiria, reconstruction of bridge over Kuvash River is nearing completion
The structure is located on the way to the M-7 "Volga" federal highway.
This spring, reconstruction of the bridge over the Kuvash River on the Novokutovo — M-7 road began. The bridge is located on the border of the Chekmagushevsky and Ilishevsky districts and leads to the federal highway. Because of the bridge's emergency condition, traffic was closed in June 2024. As a result of the tender, the initial contract price was reduced from 65 million rubles to 57 million rubles.
The bridge is currently 88% complete. Bridge builders are constructing spillway structures, a chute, and reinforcing the ditch, the Road Management Department of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported. Traffic has been launched on a temporary bypass road next to the main bridge.
