Another section of road to Magnitogorsk has been repaired in Bashkiria
In total, 20 kilometers of this highway are being repaired this year.
In the Kugarchinsky District, workers completed repairs on a 3-kilometer section of the Magnitogorsk – Ira road near the village of Alimgulovo. Road workers removed the old, broken asphalt, laid new asphalt, reinforced the shoulders, and applied road markings.
In total, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported that it plans to bring at least 20 km of the highway to standard condition this year—2.4 times more than last year. Another 6-kilometer section of the road between Sibay and Baimak was recently repaired.
The Magnitogorsk – Ira road is part of Russia's core road network. The highway connects the Baimaksky, Zilairsky, Zianchurinsky, Kugarchinsky, and Kuyurgazinsky Districts and leads into the Chelyabinsk Region. It is also a tourist route leading to the Muradymovskoye Gorge Nature Park, the Yumaguzinskoye and Nugushskoye reservoirs, and other attractions, the republic's Ministry of Transport noted.
