In Bashkiria, winter crops are being sown for the 2027 harvest, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.
To date, sowing work has been carried out on an area of 150.5 thousand hectares. Of these, 116.3 thousand hectares account for winter wheat, and 24.2 thousand hectares for winter rye. In addition, farmers in some districts of the republic are sowing triticale and winter rapeseed — currently 1.7 thousand hectares and 8.2 thousand hectares, respectively.
The leaders of the "winter" sowing campaign are Aurgazinsky, Davlekanovsky, and Sterlitamaksky districts, in each of which more than 10 thousand hectares of winter crops have been sown. This is from 52 to 76% of the plan. On average, the figure for the region is 40%.
