Bridge across Ay River in Bashkiria is 80% renovated

The structure is part of a road leading to neighboring regions.

The Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria reported that readiness for the bridge across the Ay River on the Kropachevo — Mesyagutovo — Achit road near the district center of Bolsheustykinskoye has reached 80%. The 300-meter-long structure is being renovated as part of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project. The initial contract value was 370 million rubles (the federal budget allocated 350 million). The facility is scheduled to be commissioned by November of this year — work is proceeding on schedule, and no delays are expected. For now, traffic is open on half of the bridge.

The road is very important for the subregion, the Ministry of Transport reminded — it passes through several districts of northeastern Bashkiria. It leads to the Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions and connects to the M-5 "Ural" and M-12 "Vostok" federal highways. Daily traffic across the bridge is 3.5 thousand vehicles. In addition, two sections of the Kropachevo — Mesyagutovo — Achit road are being renovated this year.
