In the Belokataysky District, workers will repair a bridge across the Tarsha River on the Maloyaz – Verkhniye Kigi – Novobelokatay – Unkurda road. The work is financed under the "Infrastructure for Life" national project. Currently, workers are installing deck slabs on new metal piles at the site, and the Republic's Ministry of Transport said they will lay a leveling layer of concrete afterward.
The bridge across the Tarsha, although small (only 11 m long), is important for the district's transport connection. Residents of Belokatay use this road to get to the district center and travel to the neighboring Kiginsky District and the Chelyabinsk Region. In addition, the road leads to tourist attractions in the Salavatsky District—the Laklinskaya Cave, Lysyn-Tash Mountain, the Ay Waterfall, and others. Last year, two bridges across the Ay and Yuryuzan rivers on this road in the Salavatsky District were repaired.
