Economically active population has been counted in Bashkiria
Bashkiria has reported new data on the size of the labor force in the region.
According to a sample survey by Bashstat, the size of the labor force aged 15 and older in March–May 2026 amounted to approximately 1.951 million people. Of these, 1.920 million, or 98.4%, were classified as engaged in economic activity. The remaining 30.6 thousand people (1.6%) were classified as unemployed, meeting the criteria of the International Labor Organization. That is, they did not have a job or gainful occupation, were looking for work, and were ready to start within the surveyed week.
