In Bashkiria, harvesting of winter wheat and rye has begun
In Bashkiria, the mowing and threshing of grain is underway in 21 districts; enterprises are harvesting winter crops. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, as of today, 12.2 thousand hectares of winter wheat and 800 hectares of winter rye have been mowed. 52 thousand tons of grain have been threshed.
At the start of the harvest, the yield of winter wheat is 47 centners/hectare, and rye is 21 centners/hectare. In total, 280 thousand hectares were sown with winter crops for this year's harvest, and the total sown area occupied 1.3 million hectares.
