In Ufa, transport interchange hub will be designed at Levaya Belaya station

In Ufa, a permit has been issued to develop a territory planning project for the placement of a transport interchange hub (TIH) at the Levaya Belaya railway station in the Dyomsky district. The corresponding resolution was published on the city administration's website.

The document involves designing a transport interchange hub, including the placement of a passenger platform beneath the road bridge before the Dyoma station. Within the design boundaries, it is necessary to provide for the creation of stations, with one on each side of the railway tracks. Access roads, sidewalks, bicycle paths, and pedestrian crossings outside street traffic lanes are being designed to provide access to the TIH. To ensure transfers from trains to city transport, layover and turning areas for public transport are provided on each side of the railway tracks. Parking lots will be included in the project for private car owners.

The creation of transport interchange hubs is necessary for the safe and convenient redistribution of passenger flows between modes of transport and travel directions. At a TIH, people can transfer to commuter trains from city public transport or private cars, which can be left in special parking lots.

In Ufa, as part of the "City Train" project, work has already been completed on creating transport interchange hubs at the Pravaya Belaya, GDK, Parkovaya, Chernikovka, and Dyoma stations. Given the development of the nearby Yarky microdistrict, the TIH at the Levaya Belaya station may be in high demand by residents.
