

Since the beginning of the year, the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic has inspected more than 22,000 cubic meters of lumber prepared by timber industry enterprises in the Republic of Bashkortostan for export.
Processed and finger-jointed boards, beams, and wood products made from coniferous and deciduous species were purchased in the region by countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Samples of wood products and round timber, in accordance with the phytosanitary safety requirements of the EAEU and importing countries, underwent entomological examinations at the Bashkir Testing Laboratory, which is subordinate to Rosselkhoznadzor.
For comparison, in January–May 2025, the Republic of Bashkortostan exported 21.5 thousand cubic meters of lumber to Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
