In Ufa, heating main is being modernized on Gafuri Street

For several years, a phased reconstruction of the heating network has been underway in Ufa on Gafuri Street — old pipes are being replaced with new ones with larger diameters. In previous years, about 750 linear meters of two-pipe networks have already been replaced here, reports MUP UIS.

In May 2026, work began on the section from house No. 29 to house No. 71, where more than 600 linear meters of networks are planned to be replaced. The installation of pipelines is carried out using pipes with polyurethane foam insulation, a polyethylene covering layer, and remote-controlled operational conductors. Their service life is up to 25-30 years, with reduced heat losses and savings in fuel and electricity.

To avoid shutting off hot water during the repair, the hot water supply will be routed via a bypass line from the central heating station to consumers. The work is scheduled to be completed by October 16, 2026.
