Electrician from Bashkortostan became lottery millionaire

The winner plans to use the prize money to pay off debts and partially pay off the mortgage on his house.

A resident of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Alexander K., became the winner of 1,000,000 rubles in a state lottery. Previously, the lucky man had won about 65 thousand rubles in the lottery, which he invested in building his house. Fortune smiled on him again.

"I woke up in the morning on my day off, analyzed the lottery draw archive, and bought three tickets in the Stoloto mobile app. Then I went to my house under construction to do the wiring and putty the walls," the winner says. "Later, I received an SMS notification about the win on my phone, but I didn't even pay attention to it. Only two hours after the draw, I logged into the app and saw the prize amount; it took my breath away! I called my mom and dad to share the news, and they were very happy."

Alexander works as an electrician and is also studying at an institute to be an engineer. In his free time, the young man enjoys going fishing with his father. He bought his lucky ticket in the state lottery mobile app.
