

Farmers in 43 districts of Bashkiria have started sowing spring crops, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov reported at an operational government meeting at the URMC (Unified Resource Management Center).
On average, 25-27 thousand hectares are sown per day in the region, with a technological capacity of up to 100 thousand hectares, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov emphasized.
As of May 3, about 214 thousand hectares, or 11% of the plan, have been sown in the republic. Of these, 124 thousand hectares have been sown with spring grain and leguminous crops, more than 79 thousand hectares with oilseeds, 7 thousand hectares with sugar beets, and about 5 thousand hectares with forage crops.
The leaders in spring crop sowing area are currently the farmers in the Sterlitamaksky, Aurgazinsky, Alsheevsky, and Meleuzovsky districts.
