In Bashkiria, number of economically active population was named

Statisticians in Bashkiria reported new data on the size of the region's labor force.

According to a sample survey by Bashstat, the size of the labor force aged 15 and over in November 2025 – January 2026 was almost 1.929 million. Of these, about 1.9 million people, or 98.5%, were classified as employed in economic activities. 29.2 thousand people (1.5%) were classified as unemployed, meeting the International Labor Organization's criteria: they had no work or income-generating occupation, were looking for work, and were ready to start work in the surveyed week.
