Bashkortostan estimates cost of 2026 sowing campaign

Deputy Prime Minister of the Government and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, reported on the upcoming sowing campaign during a meeting at the State Assembly of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

According to the Vice-Prime Minister, the structure of the sown areas is balanced. The planned area for grain crops is 1.4 million hectares, which is 2% more than last year. The area for industrial crops will increase slightly.

Ilshat Fazrakhmanov presented data on the provision of seeds and mineral fertilizers to farmers, as well as the preparation of agricultural machinery. According to preliminary calculations, the cost of spring field work in the republic will amount to about 32 billion rubles, of which 17.5 billion rubles consist of preferential loans.
