Overload fines to take effect this spring in Bashkortostan

This is a traditional measure intended to protect roads from destruction.

From April 1 through the end of the month, the movement of heavy vehicles on regional and inter-municipal roads in Bashkortostan will be restricted. A corresponding decree has been issued by the republican government.

During the snowmelt and mud season, the axle load must not exceed 6 tons, as the Road Management Department of the Republic of Bashkortostan reminds.

Responsibility for monitoring compliance with these restrictions has been assigned to Rostransnadzor and the Traffic Management Center.
